Alright. So that at least somebody gets something good out of the kerfuffle that resulted from me posting this (just read the notes—you’ll see what happened), I am doing a giveaway!
Since Skin Spirits: The Spiritual and Magical Uses of Animal Parts raised a bit of controversy today, I’d like to give at least one more person in the world the opportunity to see what I actually said in there about working with the spirits in animal skins and other remains. (SPOILER ALERT: All I did was figure out while I was making stuff out of hides and bones that there were spirits in there, and I started talking with them—free-range, organic animism in the making.) So I’m giving away one copy of the book, free of charge, and I’ll even pay for the shipping. (And yes, of course I’ll sign it!)
So if you want a chance to win this book, all you have to do is reblog (NOT JUST LIKE) this post. That’s it. You don’t even have to follow me, though I greatly appreciate follows.
I’ll keep track of everyone who reblogs this between now and midnight on May 1 (the midnight when April 30 turns into May 1), then put all the names into a hat and draw one winner out.
